I am looking for references on an algorithm called "Cobra128". I have
found it in a product I am researching and one crypto library (CryptPak 4.0
for Windows).
From the source, it looks like a Blowfish variant block cypher. It uses
similar key tables. (Using Pi as an S-box table.) It also uses CBC mode in
the cypher.
Anyone heard of this? It is not listed in any standard text I can
find. It sounds like a "home brew", but I cannot be certain without
knowing where it came from.
Any clues as to the source and/or history of this beast?
