Cerberus Information Security, Ltd would like to announce the next version
of our CIS vulnerability scanner.
CIS, which runs on Windows NT or 2000, now has a graphical user interface
and has become multi-threaded, considerably reducing the length of time
required to scan a host. The scan modules are implemented as DLLs meaning
that when updates occur you'll only need to grab the relevant DLL.
CIS now contains an NT registry check scan module (performs over 30 checks)
and other modules have been added to while others have been streamlined to
further increase speed.
There are two "versions" available - one supported and one unsupported -
though at this point in time they are exactly the same.
For those that would like a copy you can download it from our web site
http://www.cerberus-infosec.co.uk/ under the "Tools" section.
Cheers,
David Litchfield
